an old rose packed in a shoebox
carried from home,
from place to place.

a forgotten story & broken bloom, a remaining branch of
curve and thorns intact..

an idea that emerged fully formed like Athena cast forth from her father's forehead, unsuspecting of the tunnel, portal, tear... she was about to enter.

a chase for material and means.
in meaning a thing that had no 'purpose': my first piece.
